STOP Doing The Same Shit

Look,

It's time for you to get out of this fucking rut that has been in your life year after year, decade after decade.

It's time for you to open the fuck up to your power and the life that is waiting for you.

The life that you daydream about.

The life that keeps you up all night.

The life your soul desperately craves.

It's time for you to start DOING differently.

Not just thinking or talking about it,

BUT GETTING UP AND DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Creating real change.

Week after week, time fucking flies, and if you aren't getting anywhere, it's because you have got to stop doing the same shit and expecting different results.

It's the definition of insanity, and I'm sure you're going a little bit crazy repeating the same day repeatedly.

You have got to switch it up!

Not only for your external life but for your internal state of being.

If you don't start switching it up, that chip on your shoulder called depression, anxiety, hopelessness, and uncertainty will get bigger and bigger.

I want to give you some tough love here and tell you that wishing things would change isn't going to bring change.

What is going to bring change is changing your actions.

Noticing your desire to change and doing something about it will catalyze your evolution.

Doing the same thing over and over and over again is stimulating the same brainwaves over and over and over again.

At this point, your brain is only on autopilot. Keeping you functional enough to "survive." To go through the motions but feel no other emotions.

You become dissociated from yourself and your life.

You'll feel separate from your body like you're floating right above it; you feel numb, heavy, and gloomy.

Kind of like experiencing rain and no sunshine for long periods of time.

So as we step into a new week, I want to challenge you to step into a new routine, a new habit, a new stimulation.

I want you to challenge yourself for a week.

What do you have to lose because you know what it feels like to do the same shit?

I want you to choose three new things you will do every single day for the next seven days.

Three things you will do to activate new brainwaves which will help you change the state that you're in.

Try a new workout routine. This will be AMAZING if you've been struggling with depression and anxiety.

Try eating a new type of food, preferably one that supports your health and healing, because this will also help clear up some mental fog.

Try going for a walk every day, maybe even twice a day. Step away from the chaos of our societal structure and relax your nervous system.

Try not to be on your phone as much; your phone creates unhealthy brain activity if you're on it hour after hour, more than you're present in your real life.

You think you're numbing, but you're creating an unhealthy level of dopamine; this also creates more feelings of anxiety and depression.

Try talking to someone about how you're feeling.

Try drinking more water.

These simple day-to-day life things TRULY make a difference in your overall state of being.

Most people think they need to have these huge goals and ambitions to create a change, but you NEED to start focusing on creating a change in how you FEEL before your life can change.

So just try, babe, because look, this rut you're in, only YOU can decide it won't last forever.
